Nilsson & Lamm
Nilsson & Lamm is the largest foreign wholesaler of books, travelguides, maps and electronic media in the Netherlands. With over 150,000 international titles, varying from Lonely Planet Nepal to The History of Modern Art, and from Bridget Jones' Diary to A la Recherche du Temps Perdu.

Universiteit van Amsterdam-Cartographic Collection
The cartographic collection, with holdings dating from the 15th century until the present day, comprises map-sheets (approximately 25,000 pre-1800), atlases (also on Cd-rom) and globes.
There is a reference library containing works relevant to topography and cartography, including periodicals, atlases, toponymical registers and facsimiles.
The Map Room also holds the maps and a portion of the atlases of the Library and map collection of the Royal Dutch Geographical Society, which have been incorporated on loan into the Amsterdam University Library since 1880.

Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen - Maproom

The map room was founded in 1926 as a special department of  KIT Library. The collection includes approximately 25.000 topographic and thematic maps and almost 800 atlases of (sub) tropical countries.

 

Universiteit Utrecht Geosciences Library
Universiteit Utrecht Geosciences Library is the result of a merger between the library of the Earth Sciences Department and the library of Netherland Institute of Applied Geoscience TNO (TNO-NITG). The collection comprises books, journals, maps and AV-media on the subjects soil science, geochemistry, geophysics, geology, hydrology, environmental science, mineralogy, crystallography, palaeontology, petrology, sedimentology and stratigraphy.

 

ITC
International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
ITC develops and transfers knowledge on geo-information science and earth observation.

 

Universiteit Utrecht Map Collection
The map library of the faculty of Geosciences was founded in 1908 and has since then grown to a collection which consists of 130.000 single maps and 4.000 atlases. Since september 2004 the map library is part of the entire university library and is located in the new university library building, on the 6th floor.
The main task of the map collection is to support the faculty's teaching and research activities. The library also serves as a general reference. People all over the country come with map related questions.

NIOZ
The Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ) was founded in July 1876 as the Marine Zoological Station and is presently one of the major European oceanographic institutes.
